Billy Joel “My Life”,rare cd’s,memorabilia, collectibles etc.
I aquired my first cd player in 1987. Since that time, I have spent a small fortune while amassing a huge number of valuable, out of print and collectible music related items. I have lived by one simple rule: if it’s worth buying, it’s worth keeping! In this video you will see the first consumer cd player, the Sony CDP 101 (as well as it’s original magazine ad) which was released on October 1,1982, as well as the first ever cd released by an US artist (on the same day the player came out), Billy Joel’s 52nd Street, as well as various out of print titles, some still sealed in the original longbox, box sets, rare German “target” cd’s, import cd’s, ads, posters, gold dics and finally closing with some of the rarest Tori Amos collectibles from the “Y Kant Tori Read” era back in 1988! I love all genres of music, so there is more than likely something in here you will find interesting. Watch closely and see how many items you can positively identify from the video! Thanks for watching and if you have any questions about anything you see, write me a line! I also use the 1st pressing (catalog #35DP 1) version of Billy Joel’s “My Life” ripped directly from the 1983 Japanese cd released in 1982! I hope you enjoy, it’s kinda fitting because music really is “My Life”!!!
