Old school house is being converted back to originality, but must be cleaned out first. Current owner is moving out of state and didn’t want to pack-up all the stuff that’s been collected over the past years. The owner made me an offer to buy everything left behind for a price I couldn’t resist! It’s going to take quite a few hours to go through and collect what we want to keep, but it will be well worth it in the end. Seeing kids happy and enjoying life is an amazing sight and Sterling Castle is a place of dreams and happiness. The money from sales of these items will allow us to continue to grow and bring kids back to nature when they visit us.

GoMotorBids buyer Bob Dusselier shows off three rare & authentic pieces of vintage NASCAR memorabilia. These crew-only uniform shirts were worn by car chiefs and pit crew members for such famous drivers as Dale Jarrett, Bill Elliott, and Rusty Wallace. They have been personally autographed by the drivers and are all in great shape, despite being nearly two decades old. If you are a serious NASCAR collector, then these are some pieces that should belong to you. They will be up for auction (along with thousands more racing collectibles and auto memorabilia items) on the GoMotorBids website very soon.
If you’d like a fairly accurate indicator of how the economy is really doing, go to Ebay.com, type in ‘ Fort Jennings Ohio ‘, click on ‘ completed auctions ‘ ( on the left side of the page ) and take a look at what the old postcard showing the railroad depot / elevator recently sold for. People are paying astronomical prices for antiques and collectibles, and this is just one example of the hundreds of thousands of such items you’ll find on Ebay on any given day. Obviously, there are still plenty of folks out there with plenty of money !
Also, the next time you go the convenience store, take note of how much people are still spending alcohol, cigarettes and lottery tickets.
‘ Sew What ‘ : Yes, but if nobody had any money, which is what some would like us to believe, nobody would be spending it wisely, unwisely or otherwise .
I have several different kinds of collectable items and am interested in selling them, but how do I decide what they are worth. I look at ebay and get one kinda price and look in books that list the supposed "value" of them and get another. How do I get a true idea of what they are worth and how to price them? Any information or ideas would be appreciated.
I am in the process of cleaning out my deceased father’s home. He has quite an assortment of swiss music boxes, but they don’t work. I had been planning to bring them to an Ebay store but can anyone tell me if this is worth my while?
im writng an essay for my english class and Im writing about Ebay vs Amazon and this is what I have so far. Help me correct it and make it sound better, my grammar is poor english is my second language. thxs
Two most popular online shopping sites. Ebay and Amazon, both really successful companies. But which is better? Is it Ebay or Amazon? Well, I really like both site but think is Ebay is better than Amazon because I find it more easier to use, more people use it, more stuff, and payment methods.
First of all I’ll be comparing and talking about which site is cheaper. Through my research and my personal experience eBay is a bit more expensive, but you get like more options like payment and page layout. Unlike Amazon, eBay charges a listing fee whether or not an item sells, as well as any applicable PayPal fees. But its commission is also much lower than Amazon’s (8 percent on items under , compared with 15 percent). I call this a Tie.
Second of all I’ll be talking about payment methods. Amazon only accepts Credit/Debit card or an Amazon Gift Card. While eBay can accept PayPal, money orders, cashier’s checks, or cash (in person). As you can see eBay give the seller more payment option than Amazon. I call eBay win.
Third of all I’ll b talking about format. eBay popularized the auction format listing and Amazon concentrates solely on fixed-price listings. So which is better? eBay is better if you are selling antiques and collectibles, auctions are easily the best way to get the best prices. The Amazon buyer is more affluent, and pays a higher average price for products. eBay is trying to downplaying auctions and encouraging fixed-price listings. I call eBay win.
The fourth thing I’ll be talking about is Taxes. eBay enables sellers to collect applicable taxes in addition to the sale price which means taxes lose any money to taxes. Amazon sellers are responsible for the sales tax on any items sold so, they generally add the tax into the fix price of their items. It’s a pain in the butt for Amazon sellers. I call eBay win.
The fifth thing I’ll be talking about is Return Policy. Amazon has the A-to-Z Guarantee allows buyers to receive a full refund if an item is materially different from that described, for up to 90 days. In a dispute, Amazon typically sides with the buyer. On the other hand eBay seller is free to negotiate with buyers through eBay’s paypal dispute resolution and the seller is not required to offer a refund. While the dispute resolution process can be effective, it can also become messy and time-consuming and can result in negative feedback. I usually don’t have any problems, most of time I can negotiate with the sellers and get a full refund if there’s a problem with my order. I called Amazon win
