Are you worried about not having enough $$$ to get Christmas gifts this year?

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011

I have a solution for those who can’t work extra shifts or take on more jobs. Check out http://www.freecycle.org. Then find your city and look through the free things people are giving away so they won’t go to the landfills. They give away used TV’s, beds, sofas, kitchen sets, armoires, tons of clothes, toys, washers and dryers, microwaves, coats, boots, lawnmowers, tools, toasters, and much, much more. Most items are used but sometimes they have new things that were never used and some of the old furniture can be given as antiques, collectibles and items people would never get otherwise unless it was used. Check free reusable giveaway sites before giving up. Okay?

As a visual artist and sculptor, I’m making a lot of gifts for Christmas. Has the economy caught you short this year?

poll: Are you tired after a day in the office?

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011

I just got a new job. I never really had a real job before. I’d sell collectible coins and antiques. Now that I got my business degree I got an office job. I talk to executives of huge companies on the phone all day. At the end of the day I’m really tired and depressed. Is it normal after an 8 hour day? Or is it just a stressful job? Or all jobs are to some degree stressful, I mean it’s not like there’s someone who’s getting paid for doing nothing.
